Chef Adrianne Calvo to Serve as Exclusive Chef and Co-Hostess of Guy's Margarita Madness at 2010 Sou


Chef Adrianne Calvo, a highly recognizable and increasingly accomplished South Florida-based culinary artist, will serve as the exclusive chef and co-hostess of Guy's Margarita Madness, a reception headlined by popular food television personality Guy Fieri at the 2010 South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Guy's Margarita Madness will serve as the culminating program for the prestigious 4-day event, which will transpire February 25-28, 2010.

Miami, Florida-headquartered Panda Kitchen and Bath, for which Chef Adrianne serves as the exclusive celebrity spokesperson, is a Silver Level sponsor of the 2010 South Beach Wine and Food Festival and will provide two kitchens to be used during Guy's Margarita Madness. Chef Adrianne will prepare a variety of Southwestern-flavored food items for the consumption of the guests of Guy's Margarita Madness in one of the aforementioned kitchen areas. Guy's Margarita Madness is expected to attract approximately 800 attendees, and will serve as an ideal and considerably visible showcase for Chef Adrianne's diverse range of food preparation talent.

2010 will mark the 9th year for the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, which has traditionally served as a spectacular forum for wine and spirit producers and culinary artists. The festival counts Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and Florida International University (FIU) as co-hosts, and proceeds from the annual event benefit FIU’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management Teaching Restaurant and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center.

Guy Fieri has risen to prominence as the current celebrity spokesperson for the T.G.I. Fridays restaurant chain, appearing in their own advertisements through multiple visual and print mediums. He is also featured in three national cable television programs, Guy Off The Hook, Guy's Big Bite, and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, all airing on The Food Network, and co-hosts a weekly syndicated radio show, Food Guy and Marcy with Marcy Smothers. He is the co-owner of two California-headquartered restaurant chains, Johnny Garlic's and Tex Wasabi's, and is the author of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: An All-American Road Trip....with Recipes!, a book based on his travels to eating establishments across the country that was released in October 2008 and landed on the New York Times Bestseller List in its first week.

Chef Adrianne Calvo is the owner and operator of an eponymous Miami, Florida restaurant and co-hosts a weekly cooking segment, Maximum Flavor With Chef Adrianne, on the South Florida Today programming block of Miami, Florida NBC affiliate NBC-6. She has also made numerous television and radio appearances in various U.S. media markets, has appeared on the Montel Williams Show, and is the author of two books, Maximum Flavor and Maximum Flavor Essentials. She has won multiple prestigious cooking-related competitions and has been named one of the 50 Best Chefs worldwide by industry journal Chef Report.
