Gitnr: the American economy is no longer on the verge of collapse



Washington, United States of America (CNN) - Secretary of the Treasury, said the American, Timothy Gitnr, the country's economy "is no longer on the brink of collapse," he said, following the improvement of the financial statements and the overall performance following the easing of the global financial crisis.

He added that the economic recovery will continue during the current year, that job creation rates began to rise next year, but he stressed that the Americans "difficult choices" have to consider before moving forward, in particular solve the crisis of rising budget deficit.
